PowerPro braided fishing line testimonial.

Choosing a braided fishing line is not so easy task nowadays, because of too many offers available. Braided fishing line is the most popular choice of many anglers, for fresh and saltwater tackles. PowerPro is a well known brand name in braided fishing lines. They produce most durable braided lines, constructed out of premium Spectra Fibers. In spite of PowerPro lines are extremely strong – they are still limp enough. It comes in three different colors. PowerPro braided lines are good for fishing freshwater and for saltwater. These braided lines have an extremely fine diameter, and an extremely durability; therefore PowerPro lines show their worth in almost all fishing situations. One more virtue is well line casting. Yes, it is true, that any braided fishing line does not cast so well as, say, monofilament line, but the PowerPro line does cast optimal than other braided lines through its quality and construction.

I going to repeat myself, but I have to tell it again: PowerPro lines are mega strong and durable. Be very careful: it can cut you finger easy if you will not take care with it. Also it can cut your boat or everything else, what will stand in line’s way, especially while fast retrieving.

By the way few words about retrieving. Reverting is smooth equally under heavy or light load, when using PowerPro braided fishing line. That is a bit plus also…

When you start using this braided line, you will start taking notice about color will start peel off - this is outgrowth of rub against guide/rod and this is NOT affecting the line’s performance or durability. So do not care about it :)

Knots. There are two best knots for that braided fishing line: Uni and Palomar. When if you need to connect two lines, then use Uni-Uni splicing. These knots do braided line slip even you trying to release snagged line.

Tying the Uni knot:

And tying the Palomar knot:

The last straw is the price. PowerPro fishing line is not expensive at all. A pretty fairly good price for such line leaves almost no concurrent available. You can checkout it by yourself by any online story.

In additional I have to say you can use PowerPro braided fishing lines in almost all fishing types. Braided fishing lines aren’t just the best braided lines for freshwater fishing, but also superb for multitude saltwater applications, because of its magnificent water absorption resistance and mega sensitive. This braided fishing line was designed to be extra tough but without affecting other line’s characteristics, what will make your fishing pleasant and enjoyable.

Kinds of Fishing Reels. Part one.

Fishing reels are essential for practicing angling.

There are too many kinds of fishing reels on the market nowadays, so it could make you lost easy. Lets make things a little clear, so you can choose the right one reel for your fishing. Fishing reels are of different types, depending on the fishing practiced: bait reels, spinning reels, spin cast reel, under reel, direct-drive reel, fly reels, and anti reverse reel. I will talk about some (more interesting in my opinion) of them: Bait Casting Reels, Spinning Reels and Spin Cast Reels.
To choose a reel right for a job you need to know 3 important things: where you will fishing, fishing method you will use, and what type of fish will be your target. In this article will briefly overview most popular types of reels for saltwater fishing, such as off-shore, backcountry or reef fishing.
First one, I wish acquaint you with, is Bait Casting Reel, also known as Conventional Reel. On this reel the line is coiled on a revolving spool, which is fixed above the rod. Almost each of these reels equipped with a level wind mechanism, what guides the fishing line back evenly on to the spool while you rewind a line, and drag adjustments which help provide line control while you cast. To cast with Bait Casting Reel you have to move the rod backward first and then snap it forward. To stop cast you have to place your thumb over the line when it reached required distance.

The main problem many people experience with Bait Casting reels is the backlash. For those of you who don’t know what it is: this happens usually when the lure or bait hits the water and stops forward motion. But the reel, however, doesn’t stop, and the line spools off the reel so quick that it ends up in a tangled mass which can take forever to fix. Of course, as with any baitcaster, a novice fisherman is going to have a lot of problems with backlashing in the beginning . Nowadays, Bait Casting Reels are usually made from aluminum or stainless steel and unlike the spinning reels they have a mechanism that prevents the line from getting stuck or twisting under itself on the spool when retrieval is performed. When lures of different weight are attached the casting reels need to be readjusted. The Bait Casting Reel design will work well with a wide variety of fishing line but braided fishing line is the best choice for most situations.
